A GDS package is a definition of tables, code and logic that work together to define an application that is hosted inside the GDS server. By downloading the definitions of remote packages to your machine, the system can add and maintain additional applications for end users.

Locating and Downloading Packages

You can only directly download packages from systems that are known in your Remote Servers List. You can however, also download packages from other locations manually.
