How to Configure a Datalogic Quickscan QD2100 Barcode Scanner

Note: You will require the Product Reference Guide in order to configure the scanner. The entire process should take no more than 5-10 minutes per scanner. The page numbers listed below are the page numbers as dislayed in the Product Reference Guide. The page numbers will differ when attempting to print individual pages in Windows. The programming guide can be downloaded from here. Please select the Downloads link and select then Manual link and then download the correct manual to your machine from the list: Product Reference Guide (PRG), QuickScan I QD2100 (English).

1. On page 94 (Wand Label Symbology Coversion), scan the barcode labeled Enter/Exit Programming Mode.

2. On page 94, scan the barcode labeled Label Symbology Conversion = Convert to Code 39 Full ASCII.

3. On page 94, scan the barcode labeled Enter/Exit Programming Mode.

4. On page 99, scan the barcode labeled Enter/Exit Programming Mode.

5. On page 99, scan the barcode labeled Set Global Prefix.

6. On page 359, (Appendix E Keypad) scan the barcode labeled 0.

7. On page 359, (Appendix E Keypad) scan the barcode labeled 2.

8. On page 99, scan the barcode labeled Enter/Exit Programming Mode.

9. On page 99, scan the barcode labeled Enter/Exit Programming Mode.

10. On page 99, scan the barcode labeled Enter/Exit Programming Mode.

11. On page 99, scan the barcode labeled Set Global Suffix.

12. On page 359, scan the barcode labeled 0.

13. On page 359, scan the barcode labeled 3.

14. On page 99, scan the barcode labeled Enter/Exit Programming Mode.

15. On page 99, scan the barcode labeled Enter/Exit Programming Mode.

16. Your scanner may appear not to work for several seconds, after completing the above steps.
