Within eLink, the system owner can specify the type of security models and access for each user. You can specify that all internet connections must use SSL, but perhaps not requiring this for Private LAN connections. Everything discussed on this page is therefore subject to the security options you have chosen. (Note, if you are using the highest levels of security, you cannot change security settings online)
eLink servers do not knowingly store credit card information. There are no fields defined to hold this information
You may use SSL or normal HTTP connections
UDP connections (not publically available yet) can optionally be encrypted
Binary Channel communications between distributed eLink servers is encrypted, and then transmitted using SSL where possible
